A question about a biological virus?

I heard there is a biological virus rampant this world,at least in Taiwan,U.S,Canada,Hongkong,even China,and i am a Chinese,and.....this is not kidding,you know,i do not trust my gov anymore,what i mean is,that is why i ask this kind of question here,what i mean is,is that virus very.....i do not how to say,maybe my english is poor,like deadly or not,what i mean is what kind of virus that is?is that very deadly?is that like SARS or something like that or what,what i mean is,how deadly is it?thanks
