Spiritualy speaking can you explain to me why ?

Yes last week end a couple made a suicide pact and they kill their 3 children age 12 ;7 ; 4 The man shot himself and the woman stabbed herself ; but at the last minute she call 911 and she is alive Yes my question is this one ;; How come Nobody ever notice the deep depression of this couple ? And why God did not enlighten someone who would have intervene before such a big drama like this happen ? Thanks
